On this page you will find pictures taken at Messy Church.

We enjoy crafts, activities, a talk and songs,

all linked to a bible theme.

We always sit down for a meal together at the end of the session.

You can join in the fun on the first Tuesday of the month

(term time only) in Findon Village Hall, 3.30-5.30pm.

Our themes for February were Candlemas and Past, Present & Future. We talked about Simeon and Anna, who waited a long time to see Jesus. Several activities were about aging and how hard it is to be patient.

On 3rd December we looked forward to Christmas,

talking in particular about the Angel's visit to Mary.

Luke 1:26-28

Our theme for 5th November was 'Fire through the bible'. As well as various fire-related activities (including burning bushes, baking soda painting and edible campfires!), we made a poppy wreath to be laid at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday. We look forward to seeing everyone again on 3rd Dec.

It was wonderful to welcome so many families back after the summer break.

The theme was Matthew 5: 13-16, and we talked about salt and light and making a difference.

Everyone joined enthusiastically in a range of activities and we finished the afternoon sharing a meal together. We look forward to seeing everyone again on 5th November!
